Vortex access mats are designed and manufactured in our Peace Country, AB facility using top-quality materials. Our mats are made from 3-ply Douglas fir or our premium fibre blend (fir, pine, and spruce), allowing us to provide complete options for every worksite, load requirement, and budget. All Vortex mats feature fir outside boards with routered edges to minimize wear and tear in transportation, installation, and use.
Our 3-ply mat design incorporates solid top and middle plies with a gapped bottom. The solid layers maximize shear strength and loading capacity while preventing noxious weeds and other contaminants from penetrating the mat. Meanwhile, the gapped bottom layer ensures our access mats remain stable and secure, even on the most challenging Western Canadian terrain.
All Vortex access mats are manufactured under cutting-edge compression technology, ensuring structural integrity and giving harmful contaminants nowhere to hide.
